They come in both a textured (Snowdon) and smooth (Shetland) finish, are a great economical alternative to natural slate and fibre cement roofing.
One of main features of these products are their permanent colour. These tiles are typically painted after they are pressed and then fired in a kiln at temperatures over 1,000 degrees, baking the colour into the tile to make it permanent.
Unlike concrete tiles and fibre cement slates, they will never lose their colour.
