From the outset of the build Yvonne was determined to use a traditional and locally sourced material for the exterior of her home.

Having looked at using traditional Welsh Slate walling she decided that it wasn’t for her, and that using it would mean having to scale back plans for the interior of her home: something that she was adamant that she did not want to do. 

The difficulty for the couple at this stage was achieving the finish that they wanted without eating into the overall budget for the build. 

The Bangor Blue Z-Stone panel offered the perfect compromise.

It allowed the couple to create the natural stone finish they aspired to, it was quick to install, and saved them some money at the same time.
