Ffestiniog slates are typically available in sizes of 500x300mm (other sizes are available upon request) and in 3 thicknesses:
• Capital grade (5.5mm nominal thickness)
• County grade (7mm nominal thickness)
• Celtic grade (9mm nominal thickness)
Ffestiniog roofing slates conform to BS EN 12326-1: 2014 (W1, S1, T1), hold BS Kitemark certification, and are generally expected to outlive the life of a building.
Ffestiniog slates have a life expectancy measured in centuries and a 100 year guarantee.
