Tapco Slates are a synthetic slate product manufactured from 100% pure virgin limestone and polypropylene. They offer a great alternative to natural slate and have a number of advantages.
They are a light weight product with only 12 kg per square metre. They can also be used at roof pitches as low as 12° (please consult with the LBS technical department in low pitch roofing scenarios). Finally, they are quick and easy to install, with no need for sorting and grading.
