GRP Dry Fix Bonding Gutter

A GRP Dry Bonding Gutter is a mortarless system which creates a weather tight joint between dissimilar roof coverings on adjacent roofs, and joins any combination of slates or flat and profiled tiles.

GRP Bonding Gutter Jointing Strip (Secret Valley)

A GRP Bonding Gutter Jointing Strip (Secret Valley) is manufactured from glass fibre/polyester laminate with a UV-resistant polyester film on the upper face. A sanded strip is bonded along the upper face to provide a key for bedding the roof tiles into mortar.

The Bonding Gutter gives a weatherproof seal between adjacent roofs. It joins any combination of double lap or interlocking slates, clay or concrete tiles, with minimum disturbance to the adjacent roof.

The packs should be stored flat on a smooth, clean, dry surface; under cover and protected from sunlight.

Dry Valley Trough

Similar to the 'Type 1' verge trim but with the addition of a leg, which allows the trim to be used on roofs without a soffit.

Fibre Cement Slate Trim (Type 1)

Our fibre cement slate trim (type 1) is designed for use with fibre cement slates and interlocking clay tiles.

Natural Slate Trim (Type 2)

Similar to the 'Type 1' verge trim but with the addition of a leg this particular slate trim also provides a secure and maintenance free finish to the gable.

Natural Slate Trim (Type 1)

Our Dry Verge Slate Trim is supplied in 3m lengths and offers the user a complete wind and rain protection solution for their verge. The verge trim gives a fully dry fixing option with no requirement for mortar bedding.

Snowdon/Shetland Trim (Type 2)

It is particularly suitable for builds with no soffit detail to prevent the ingress of wind driven rain. It also provides a tidy finish at the gable.

Snowdon/Shetland Trim (Type 1)

Customised specifically for the LBS Snowdon/Shetland Clay the J Trim provides a weather tight dry fix verge detail on the roof and does away with any kind of mortar bedding in line with recent roof fixing recommendations.

Fixing Clip

The Linear Dry Verge Fixing Clip can be used to provide additional fixing points along the verge when fixing the LH or RH Linear Verge Units.

Verge Union

The uPVC Verge Union can be used to cover a joint where two LH or RH Linear Verge Units abut each other. For roofs where the bottom course tiles are tilted upwards, cover the nail head and joint using a verge union. Hooke the verge union around the top flange between the linear verge unit and the tiles, then firmly push the verge union onto the joint until the clip engages with both linear verge units.

Whilst all quarries will strive to make the best selection they can, there will be a fall-out of material that, for whatever reason, does not make the premium selection. 

These reasons can include (but are not limited to) dimensional intolerances, blemishes, imperfections in the slate or higher levels of iron pyrities.
